BoreHub — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

BoreHub ("the App") is a work-management tool for tunnel boring machine (TBM) maintenance teams. This policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used. If you have questions, contact us at josephcambron0898@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

How We Use Information

Camera & Photo Access

The App requests camera and photo-library access only when you choose to attach a photo to a work order, checklist, or daily-log entry. Access is used solely to capture or select those images.

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on secure servers operated on behalf of your organization. Passwords are protected using one-way hashing (bcrypt) and are never stored in plain text. All communication between the App and the server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to data is restricted by user role.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Information is accessible only to authorized users within your organization. We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising. Limited service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, and an AI provider used only to translate checklist text on request) process data solely to deliver App features.

Data Retention

Records are retained for as long as your organization uses the App or as required for maintenance record-keeping. Administrators can edit or delete user accounts and most records.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting your organization's administrator or us at josephcambron0898@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

BoreHub is a professional tool intended for workplace use and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
